Roots
Both East Coast Lumber and Industrial Wood Products grew alongside each other eventually outgrowing the railroad depot. In the early 80s, both relocated to Climax, NC where our headquarters remain today. Our production facilities now also extend to Ramseur, NC and Vicksburg, MS. We take pride in our ability to ship products competitively, nationwide.
Industrial Wood Products was started over 50 years ago in Welcome, North Carolina. The company was built on the need for a local resaw in the heart of Southern Yellow Pine country. The company quickly grew with a solid base of industrial customers that relied on a steady and trusted partner in the remanufacturing of wood products.
