Chris Gordon is the Human Resources Manager for all divisions of Industrial Wood Products & East Coast Lumber.

He is a lifelong North Carolina native and veteran of the US Army Military Police Corp. After holding several sales management positions, he became a relator owning two businesses of his own. His position here at Industrial Wood Products ranks at the top of any business or profession he has been associated with.

He and his wife, Sarah have three amazing children. His oldest, Jacob, works with Wal-Mart, his middle son Brett works closely with IWP as VP of Business Development for Welcome Logistics and his daughter Lauren works with in Sale Support for our sister company East Coast Lumber. We are extremely proud them all!

Chris began his career with IWP in 2018 as a Production Manager with our Board Program in Climax, NC,

He helped manage our Moulder and Industrial Divisions and our Shipping and Receiving Department before being asked to take over for our former HR Manager who retired in 2023. He is excited to help all of our employees across multiple divisions of our Company.

It has been exciting for him to watch the growth of our company over the last several years and he finds it heartwarming to work for a company that cares so much about the people that they employ and the communities around us.
